In 2019, BNI Laos celebrates its 20th anniversary with over 27 Chapters with 923 Members, locally passed over 37,782 referrals, which generated $60,784,966 in closed business for its members Noteworthy achievements and initiatives since October 2018 include the launch of the first Chinese chapter in Laos and centralised training for all members, allowing our members to network with each other all over Loas and ensuring they always have the resources to them you on your journey. Our training incorporates best practices from all over the world.

Dr. Ivan Misner is the Founder and Chief Visionary Officer for BNI and is also an author, a humanitarian and an expert in the field of business networking.
Graham Weihmiller joined BNI in 2014 to help execute BNI’s strategic plan that includes operational enhancements, continued membership growth, and ongoing global member expansion.

BNI is a business and professional referral organization that allows only ONE person from each profession to join a chapter. This is a unique platform that integrates face to face networking with an online social network spanning over 76 countries and thousands of business people.
Belonging to BNI is like having dozens of salespeople working for you! All the other members carry several copies of your business cards with them. When they meet someone who could use your products or services they hand your card out and recommend your services. It’s as simple as that!

Only one person from each professional specialty is accepted into a Chapter.

Visiting a chapter is the first step in finding your new referral partners.
At your visit you may apply for membership with the Membership Committee of the chapter. This process involves completing an Application, references and an interview with the Committee.

We only take one person per professional specialty. So if you are a residential real estate person and we already have one, we can refer you to another chapter, or allow you to open another chapter. Of course, if you are a commercial real estate person, you could be eligible to join this chapter.
The application asks for references and we have a membership committee that checks them. It’s word of mouth, so before they even come to a meeting they have to have spoken to someone or been invited by someone in the group. Everyone has to have a sponsor, or one is assigned to them, and they interview them.
We have an ethics committee and it is imperative that anyone who gives a lead and finds out it was not satisfactorily handled must report that to the membersh committee, who will investigate.
It is not the occupation, it is the individual. The occupation can be anything. If you’re focussed and you have a dream and you’re willing to make a sacrifice, you are the person we want in the group.
You’re encouraged to bring visitors for those occupations that are open, after the visitor has been prescreened, if they’re a viable candidate. It’s pretty much a closed meeting except for potential members.
BNI understands the importance of the ethical concerns governing certain professions and acknowledges that rules can differ by location. As such, BNI therefore requires its members to uphold the rules of its profession so as not to violate the professional’s ethical obligations. In the event that BNI’s general rules could potentially violate a professional’s ethical code, BNI’s rules are superseded by the dictates of the professional’s ethics’ code. Significantly, a primary objective of BNI is to educate its membership in ways to market and grow business. It is BNI’s intent to ensure that this is permitted.
BNI understands that many professions are broad and that people often specialize within their profession. BNI does not expect, nor does it encourage, any professional to participate in an area in which the professional does not have expertise. On the contrary, BNI prohibits professionals from acting outside of the scope of their abilities.
BNI’s primary objective is to assist its members in ways to improve their business and to educate them concerning how they can effectively network. Business people get business when their expertise is known and others reach a comfort level with them. BNI provides a forum that allows members to meet other business peers who need to know effective and efficient business people.

In this event, the BNI CHAPTER group includes more than 30 companies and invited various business units from different professional fields to participate in the event, more than 50 companies to strengthen and expand the connection with each other with the belief that BNI Better Together.
✨The event was full of fun sharing lessons between the members of the BNI CHAPTER group and the invited guests. There was also a booth to display the products of each company for the guests to enjoy and receive a lot of giveaways.✨
In this project we traveled to deliver donated items such as clothing, dry food, medicine, school supplies and sports equipment to poor children and sick people in the wilderness of PhonXai District, Luang Prabang Province (including 4 villages as follows: HuaiLon Village, NongKham Village, HuaiJear Village and HuaiDong Village) !!!
